My Background

Line separator

I suffered from chronic shoulder pain since I was a teenager. My lungs collapsed five times. Being older now, it has been stated that it may have been due to forward head posture - adding weight to my neck, chest, and lungs.

This was 1995, when people really didn't understand therapeutic touch. I went with being in pain my whole life. And now, understanding the muscles involved and the correct posture I need to place my body in has changed my world. I have been able to pass that onto my son, to help change his world - before it's uncomfortable and un-correctable for him.

It was 2014, when I started learning how to become a massage therapist. The first in my class, I took my State License Test in March 2015 - and passed! I graduated from the massage therapy program at Trident Technical College, in Charleston SC, on April 28, 2015.

I strive to make the time on the table meaningful for your life, guiding your body toward peace, balance, and relaxation. I believe we all contain the innate capability to heal ourselves; and I use an intuitive approach to create the ideal environment for your body to unwind.

My Approach

Through compassionate and careful listening, I address physical and energetic issues.

I place care into the atmosphere and visual surroundings. This assists in urging one's mind, and then body, to RELAX.

Feeling REFRESHED isn't just an external feeling. I'm constantly ushering your body toward its own natural healing abilities internally; and opening up the potential for a deeper release.

I add stretching, movement, and deep tissue kneading - to provide a restorative, therapeutic treatment that aids in the body’s natural healing process and re-connects the person as a whole, to feel REVITALIZED.
